Jesse Daniel is Set for a Monster 2023 | Live Album & Tour Announced
If you’re like me, you enjoy starting each new year looking ahead to predict who is going to be the next artist to have a massive year. Now, I have plenty of thoughts on who is set up for a dynamite 2023, but Jesse Daniel is soaring to the top of my list right now. Jesse’s last album, “Beyond These Walls” showcased the wide stylistic range he is capable of. He took that momentum across the country last year expanding his audience throughout 2022. What better way to start 2023 than with the announcement of a live album, “My Kind Of Country”? Along with the album, is a spring tour spanning coast-to-coast from Florida to California.
Live albums are always special, and this one is certainly no exception for Jesse. Recorded at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, Jesse played in front of a sold out crowd. Not only is this the same massive California venue where Neil Young recorded, “Touch The Night”, but it is also in Jesse’s old stomping grounds. So much so, that he actually used to work at the venue as a stage hand and security. The backstory of The Catalyst doesn’t quite stop there for Jesse. He actually played his first gig at their tiny, upstairs bar years ago.
“The Catalyst was kind of as big as it gets in my world. I grew up there, going to shows, playing
shows on their smaller stages. To headline the main stage, let alone sell it out and make a
record there, is a huge accomplishment for me and I’m forever grateful to my Santa Cruz
County friends, fans and family for supporting what we do.”

Jesse is also picking right up where he left off last year heading across the country to get more ears on his Honky-Tonk gold. His spring tour is set to cover coast-to-coast, hitting just about everywhere in between. If you haven’t yet, Jesse is a MUST SEE live show performance. His band is stellar and Jodi Lyford adds a powerful touch of harmonies. Don’t believe me? Hear it for yourself! “My Kind Of Country” Live at The Catalyst is out March 24th!
